Brooks Koepka works out his abs and flexes his major championship trophies

April 9, 2020

One four-pack was motivating the other.

With the PGA Tour on hiatus until at least the middle of May due to the coronavirus, Brooks Koepka said he’s been trying to work out every day. Wednesday, he put on a pair of red shorts and a white and black tank top, put out a blue mat and worked on some toe crunches for his “four-pack” of ab muscles.

In front of his four major championship trophies.

“As many of you know, I do not have a six-pack,” Koepka, sporting a new goatee, said on his Instagram story. “I only have a four. So during this time, stuck in the house, trying to stay fit, I figured I might as well work on the core.”

“All right, let’s do some toe touches,” he added before starting the exercise.

Earlier in the video, Koepka reminisced about the Masters Par-3 Contest, which would have been Wednesday until the entire tournament was postponed and then rescheduled for Nov. 12-15. One year during the contest, his dad, Bob, caddied for him. Another year, his mom, Denise Jakows, did. This year, his girlfriend, Jena Sims, was going to be on the bag.

“Big week this week — Augusta,” Koepka said. “You know one of my favorite memories from Augusta every year is the Par-3 Contest. It’s so cool to have your family out there. I’ve had my dad, I’ve had my mom caddie for me, and Jena was going to do it this year. Whenever that happens, I’m sure she’ll be caddying and we’ll make some more memories.”
