Report: Tom Brady just joined one of the world’s most exclusive golf clubs
Tom Brady will be spending a lot more time in Florida over the next few years, and now he’ll be able to test his golf game on one of the best courses in his new home state.
The six-time Super Bowl champion recently signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, choosing to head south after 20 years with the New England Patriots in search of another Super Bowl title. Brady is a solid golfer, reportedly playing to an 8 handicap, who regularly appears in PGA Tour pro-ams, often alongside his former coach Bill Belichick.
Back in 2017, Brady joined The Country Club in Brookline, a historic club that hosted caddie Francis Ouimet’s shocking 1913 U.S. Open victory. According to reports from Outside the Cut and the Palm Beach Post, he’s found a stellar Florida replacement in the ultra-exclusive Seminole Golf Club, which reportedly accepted him as a member this weekend.
Seminole, which came in at No. 34 in our recent Top 100 Courses in the World ranking, is a posh coastal retreat designed by the great Donald Ross in 1929 that “challenges with palms, sea grape bushes, ocean breezes and a varied routing that encompasses two dune ridges.”
Seven-time major champion Ben Hogan was enamored with the course and prepared for the Masters there each spring for 30 years. The club is also known for its annual Seminole Pro-Member, in which PGA and LPGA Tour stars team up with club members in a two-man best ball format. Last year’s star-studded field featured World No. 1 Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, and Jessica Korda, to name a few.

Brady can often be seen alongside the pros at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he’s even appeared immediately after Super Bowl appearances. Though he didn’t participate in the 2020 edition, he did find time to roast fellow NFL legend Peyton Manning, who was in the field.
We’ll likely soon get the opportunity to see both Brady and Manning on the course with the two biggest golfers of the past 30 years. Plans are in the works for a four-man match involving the two QBs, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
