2019 U.S. Open: Listen to Joe Buck play-call on Brooks Koepka’s pre-round kiss
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. — Perhaps the most controversial part of Brooks Koepka’s PGA Championship win last month was what happened before he played the course.
Or, rather, what didn’t happen.
At Bethpage, Brooks was attempting to go wire-to-wire. Ahead of his final round, his longtime girlfriend Jena Sims went in for the pre-round kiss and was rejected not once, but twice.
Jena goes for the kiss, Brooks goes for the fist bump.

The internet, predictably, had lots of thoughts about it all.
Flash forward to Sunday at the U.S. Open, where Koepka arrived for his final round four strokes back of Gary Woodland. All eyes were on the pair to see if the same thing would happen again. Fox Sports announcer Joe Buck even gave us the play-by-play.
But this time, when Jena went in for the kiss, Brooks obliged. Joe Buck seemed very happy about it.
“The kiss has happened!”
