The PGA Tour heads down to the Bayou this week, as the Zurich Classic of New Orleans is set to get underway at TPC Louisiana.
The odds-on favorites to win this week at 7/1 odds is the Aussie duo of Jason Day and Adam Scott. While Day finished T5 at the Masters earlier this month, Scott placed T18. Ranked No. 14 in the world, Day has not won on Tour since last year’s Wells Fargo Championship. Scott, who is ranked No. 28 in the world, last won on Tour in 2016 at the formerly-named WGC-Cadillac Championship.
The European tandem of Tommy Fleetwood and Sergio Garcia enter with the second-highest odds to win this week in New Orleans with 8/1 odds. Fleetwood finished T36 at the Masters, while Garcia failed to make the 36-hole cut at Augusta National. Fleetwood, ranked No. 16 in the world, is still looking for his first Tour win. As for Garcia, the No. 29 player in the world has not won since he earned the green jacket at the 2017 Masters.
A pair of Patricks has the third-highest odds to win this week at TPC Louisiana, as Patrick Cantlay and Patrick Reed enter with 12/1 odds to win. Reed, who has not won on Tour since his 2018 Masters title, finished T36 at Augusta National. Meanwhile, Cantlay earned a T3 at this past week’s RBC Heritage. Cantlay, who is currently ranked No. 18 in the world, has not earned a Tour victory since the 2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
