June 16, 2019

The final round of the 2019 U.S. Open is upon us, and a crowded leaderboard awaits at Pebble Beach. You can follow the entire final round of the U.S. Open with our U.S. Open Live Coverage blog below, featuring live score updates, highlights from your favorite players, and video clips of the best shots.

Gary Woodland holds a narrow one-shot lead to begin Round 4. He will play alongside former U.S. Open champion Justin Rose on Sunday, who starts the day in second place. But two-time defending champ Brooks Koepka is lurking just a few shots back.

Tiger Woods begins the day 11 shots off the lead after shooting a disappointing even-par 71 in Round 3. Follow all the action in the final round of the 2019 U.S. Open with our U.S. Open Live Coverage blog below, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET.

That’s all for this memorable U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. Gary Woodland grabs the lead on Friday and doesn’t give it up. Stay tuned to GOLF.com for more coverage from Pebble throughout the night.

9:28: WHY NOT?!? Woodland cans the 20-footer for birdie, capping off his week with an exclamation point. He wins the U.S. Open at 13 under par.

9:24: Woodland safely aboard. He has three putts to win the U.S. Open.

9:17: Woodland takes an iron and it’s well-placed down the right. Should have a comfortable lay-up coming next.

9:15: So Gary Woodland heads to the 18th tee at Pebble Beach with a two-shot lead at the U.S. Open.

9:13: Koepka’s birdie putt leaks just a bit right, and that just might do it. A valiant effort for a third-straight U.S. Open looks like it might come *just* short.

9:12: He takes a 64-degree wedge — and oh, an incredible shot. Under those circumstances, that’s gotta be the best shot he’s ever hit. To a few feet to save par on 17.

9:09: Not great from Brooks. He won’t be too pleased. Will need to make a 10-footer to close out at 11 under.

9:06: Woodland steps up to the daunting 17th — and it leaks right. He might have to pitch that off the green…? Interesting decision/execution coming. Meanwhile, Brooks walks up to his ball at 18.

9:04: Brooks takes 3-iron and lands it on the green in two. Rolls just a bit off, sitting in the rough. A chip-in for eagle might blow the lid off Pebble.

8:58: Woodland leaves another 20-footer for birdie on 16. He’s been about as blemish-free as you can be all week.

8:53: Brooks’ birdie putt never really had a chance. He heads to 18 two shots back.

8:50: That birdie putt on 15 from Woodland looked good for about 20 of the 21 feet, but instead he’ll card a par and move right along.

8:44: Woodland with a nice, safe shot into the 15th green. Koepka’s birdie putt goes begging, and time is running out for him.

8:36: Gary Woodland makes his birdie. He’s two shots up on Koepka, four shots ahead of Rose.

8:33: A Chez Reavie sighting! He’s alive! Koepka and Reavie both in great spots on 16. Attention back to 14, where Gary Woodland can grab the tournament by the neck right now.

8:29: Oh man. Woodland goes for the green in two and carries the bunker by about a foot. That is a massive, massive shot.

8:27: Koepka does well to find the green from that spot. He then gave his 40-foot birdie putt a hefty roll and has about seven feet left for his par.

8:22: All of a sudden, Brooks can’t find the fairway. He’s waaaaaaaaaay right on 15. Woodland’s drive is perfect on 14.

8:20: Koepka salvages his par. Woodland, too. Rose missed his 11-footer for par and continues to fade from contention. This might just be a two-man race now.

8:14: All three going in and out of trouble — Brooks misses the green and will need to get up-and-down for par on 14. Rose misses the green short on 13.

8:11: Brooks lays up out of the rough to a good spot. Gary, luckily, found a good lie in right rough on 13 — and knocks it to the fringe.

8:04: For the first time all week, Gary Woodland has made a bogey on the back nine. The lead is back to one shot over Koepka. (Rose missed a five-footer to make bogey).

8:02: Koepka leaves the birdie a couple rolls short. Woodland going to have 15-20 feet to save par a hole behind him.

7:58: Lots happening. Woodland and Rose in some trouble on the par-3 12th. Koepka gets the ball up out of the fairway bunker to about 15 feet for birdie on 13. For all the talk about low scores this week, the winner of this championship will be the one who can endure the perils of the back nine here on Sunday.

7:54: Woodland leaves his birdie putt under the hole, but he’ll take a two-shot lead into No. 12.

7:51: Koepka’s leaks to the right — a bogey for him. If Woodland can drain this putt, what a massive swing that would be.

7:50: About 15 feet left for Koepka’s par. Woodland with a phenomenal shot from the right rough to get a birdie look.

7:45: Woodland and Rose are both in the rough to the right at 11.

7:44: Brooks’ shot on 12 is in the greenside bunker. Going to be a really tough up-and-down.

7:41: Rose rolls in a nine-footer to save par, again. Pretty amazing that he’s stayed in this the way he’s striking the ball. Woodland with an easy two-putt par.

7:33: Koepka rolls in the birdie at 11 to get within a shot of Gary Woodland. Woodland subsequently leaves himself about 30 feet for birdie on 10. Here we go…

7:29: So, here we are at the turn. Woodland has a two-shot lead. Will it be enough? The next three holes will be telling. Rose and Woodland both pump one right down the middle off the tee.

7:25: Kopeka narrowly misses his birdie putt on 10 to stay three back, but Woodland also misses his par save on 9 to drop to 12 under. The lead is now down to two.

7:21: Woodland hits a great recovery to give himself a makeable look at par, maybe 8 feet.

7:19: Rose hits a beautiful approach to the back of the green on 9, and will have about 20 feet left for birdie.

7:17: Woodland electing to take his medicine on 9, chipping out from his nasty lie on the left.

7:12: Woodland has been pretty rock-solid, but he duck-hooks his drive into the gallery on 9. That’s going to be a brutal lie. Rose is right down the middle.

7:08: Woodland has 19 feet left for birdie on 8, and he misses on the high side. A tap-in par keeps him at 13 under overall. Kopeka saves par on 9 to stay three back. Rose has nearly 10 feet for par on 8 — a big-time putt. He leaves it short, and drops a shot to trail by three.

7:00: Rose and Woodland are safely in the fairway on 8, and Kopeka smashed his drive down the middle on 9.

6:54: What a save! Woodland remains two shots ahead at 13 under.

6:53: Brooks saves bogey, and Woodland gets out of the bunker, but he’ll have about 10 feet left to save par. Before he putts, Rose misses his birdie.

6:50: UH OH. Woodland goes long into the back pot bunker on 7. That’s gonna be a tough one. Meanwhile, Brooks is in trouble on 8 in the high grass. It’s all he can do to hack it from there into the bunker. He’ll need a stellar up-and-down just to save bogey. And, his bunker shot is awesome. He’ll have just about two feet left for bogey.

6:49: Rose hits a gorgeous shot to pin-high on 7. He’ll have about 10 feet left for birdie.

6:47: Woodland misses his birdie, which cuts his lead to two.

6:43: Might be the first mistake of the day for Woodland. He thins his chip and will have about 15-18 feet left for birdie. Rose burns the edge on his eagle putt but will tap in for an easy birdie.

6:39: Brooks misses his birdie attempt on No. 7. Meanwhile, Woodland ends up just short of the green on 6 with what looks like an easy up-and-down opportunity. Rose nails his second shot and will have a fine look at eagle.

6:34: Woodland and Rose are both safely in the fairway on 6.

6:32: Kopeka fires it right over the flag on 7, and his shot rolls back to about 10 feet from the hole. Another good birdie look coming up!

6:29: Two-putt pars for both Woodland and Rose on No. 5. Kopeka has to settle for par on 6 after his bunker shot and ensuing birdie putt come up short.

6:23: Woodland safely on the middle of the green on the par-3 5th

6:21: Woodland hits a beautiful lag and taps in for an easy par on 4. Rose has 20 feet for birdie annnnd…it horseshoes! Brutal. He remains three back.

6:16: Woodland is safely on the green on 4, but it will be a lengthy look at birdie.

6:13: ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Kopeka drops ANOTHER birdie on No. 5! He’s two back!!

6:09: Rose ends up a roll short on his 18-foot birdie attempt on 3. Woodland then drains ANOTHER birdie, this one a 6-footer, to extend his lead to three shots.

6:04: Woodland answers with a stuck approach of his own on No. 3. He’ll have about four feet to extend his lead to three. Rose only had 68 yards to the hole, but ends up outside of Woodland, probably 15 feet.

6:03: Kopeka is officially on fire, three under par through his opening four holes. He’s two shots back!

6:02: Rose and Woodland both find the fairway on 3, with Rose absolutely busting it, cutting about as much off the corner as humanly possible.

6:01: Kopeka is in tight AGAIN on No. 4. Omg. What a start to the final round this has been.

5:56: Woodland drains his putt for birdie on 2, just after Kopeka and Oosthuizen drained putts for birdie to get to nine under overall. Rose bogeyed, so Woodland’s lead is now two over Rose, and three over Kopeka and Oosthuizen.

5:53: BROOOOOOKS! King Kopeka just stuffed one on the third to tap-in range for birdie.

5:49: Woodland sticks his approach on 2, while Rose is in trouble after a wayward shot to the heavy rough on the right.

5:44: Rose is right down the middle with driver on 2, and Woodland is right there with him, also with driver. Meanwhile, Brooks looked like he was in trouble on 2 after hitting a wayward drive and failing to get on the green in regulation, but another awesome up-and-down saves his par.

5:41: Woodland’s birdie putt comes up about a foot short, and he taps in for an easy par. And BOOM! Just like that, Justin Rose is tied for the lead after sinking a short birdie on 1.

5:37: Woodland and Rose are both on the green in regulation on No. 1. Rose has what looks like five feet for birdie, while Woodland has maybe 10-12 feet.

5:36: Man oh man. Rory McIlroy just doubled the second hole. Looks like that’s that for his chances today. He’s now seven shots back. Meanwhile, Adam Scott eagled the sixth to get within five shots of the lead.

5:33: And our final group is off! Down the middle of the fairway. Let’s go!

5:28: We know low scores are out there, by the way. Kopeka just birdied the first to pull within three. Xander Schauffele is three under through 5, and Webb Simpson is five under on the day on 17.

5:26: Greetings, golf fans! The final group is about to get started and I am PUMPED! Who ya got? Personally, I think J. Rose is going to bring this one home. But we should be in for a good ride for the next four hours!
