2019 U.S. Open: Brooks Koepka made this girl’s day after amazing par save
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. — Brooks Koepka may act like golf’s resident tough guy, but deep down, he’s just a big softy.
He proved that on the second hole of his final round at the 2019 U.S. Open.
Koepka’s 2nd hole on Sunday was a little messy. A rare error off the tee left him in the deep rough to the right of the fairway. His hack out of the rough could only advance him into the ravine in front of the green. From there, he hit an amazing shot to just a few feet from the hole, which ensured he saved an unlikely par.
The rough doesn't bother @BKoepka.

But the best part of all came after he finished the hole. He took his ball, walked over to the crowd, and gave it to a young girl who was watching nearby.
A gift from @BKoepka.
