You can now play Tiger Woods’ first public-access course (well, some of it)

Can’t wait to get a round in at Tiger Woods’ first publicly-accessible course? You’re in luck, because Payne’s Valley, the Big Cat’s course at Big Cedar Lodge, one of GOLF’s Top 100 Resorts in North America, has 10 holes currently open for preview play until the end of the year.

The grand opening is planned for a still-to-be-determined date in 2020.

The course’s website indicates that it is intended to playable for all ages and skill levels, with large fairways and greens, “pristine” water features, and a signature 19th hole: the Big Rock at Payne’s Valley.

A green fee of $195 will get you warm-up range balls at Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw’s Ozarks National course in addition to preview access to play Payne’s Valley’s first 10 holes (price is inclusive of cart). You’ll also be entitled to a round at the 13-hole Gary Player-designed Mountain Top course, which is directly adjacent to Payne’s Valley, and access to the Tom Watson putting course at Mountain Top. Preview guests will also receive a commemorative Payne’s Valley print.

Preview play tee times at Payne’s Valley will be available from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily, weather permitting. If you’re interested in playing, you can book tee times now by calling 844-293-5842, but you might want to hurry, since the average temperature in Branson, Mo. goes from 59 degrees in November to a chilly 48 degrees in December.
