Social-media star Chance Cozby, also known by his social media handle @3piecesofpecan, which boasts more than 1.6 million online followers across multiple platforms, teamed up with U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark to demonstrate just how easy it is to make this crowd-pleasing cocktail-and-guac combo.
After mixing the drinks, the duo set to work on the guacamole, and Clark mentioned that he’s a big avocado fan.
“I actually eat an avocado every morning,” he said. “You do half avocado with one or two eggs, very simple, but I get my fats and I get my protein.”
“Well, that’s why we look different,” Cozby quipped. “Because I eat eggs with cheese and maybe a little bit of heavy cream with a lot of butter.”
After sharing a laugh, the two agreed that they like their guac spicy, so Cozby added a generous serving of serrano peppers.
“Both my parents are from New Mexico, so we were always used to green chili and spicy foods,” Clark said. “My mom was a great cook and she always actually put a little bit of salsa in her guac at the end.”
Cozby liked that call, and added a spoonful of salsa.
“It doesn’t change it too much,” Clark said. “But it just adds a little bit of extra flavor.”
