Play Smart: Will warming up golf balls on a cold day really make them fly farther?

If you love golf like we do, you already know that you’re not maxing out your distance on a cold day. But Game Improvement Editor Luke Kerr-Dineen ran an experiment in hopes of getting the most out of the golf ball, even in the worst conditions. The results will change the way you prepare for your next preseason round.
