GOLF.com’s 8 Teachers to Watch

Every two years GOLF magazine and GOLF.com Top 100 Selection committee has the unenviable task of sifting through mountains of applications from golf teachers all across the country. The end result is our bi-annual GOLF Top 100 Teachers in America list. It’s a process we truly believe is the fairest and most in-depth in golf, and it’s what’s established our list as the industry standard for recognizing excellence in coaching.

The list of new inductees to our Top 100 Teachers list was extraordinarily strong for 2019-2020. There were 16 in all, including the likes PGA of America President Suzy Whaley, Tony Finau’s golf coach Boyd Summerhays, and George Gankas, coach to highly-rated Oklahoma State amateur Matt Wolf.

So this year, the Top 100 selection committee wanted to take the extra step of highlighting eight up-and-coming, digitally-minded young coaches and golf teachers to keep your eye on…

Because putting corrections can occur with many different solutions, the trick is finding one that both increases the probability of success and actual successes and can be easily integrated into the players comfort zone while competing.
