Davis Thompson won the first PGA Tour event of his career at the John Deere Classic by shooting a final round seven-under-par 64 at TPC Deere Run to get to an impressive total of 28-under par for the tournament. He won by four shots over Michael Thorbjornsen, amateur Luke Clanton, and C.T. Pan.
