Winner’s bag: Rory McIlroy’s TaylorMade equipment at the RBC Canadian Open

Rory McIlroy fired a final-round 61 to win the RBC Canadian Open by seven shots over Shane Lowry and Webb Simpson for his 16th PGA Tour title. McIlroy’s TaylorMade setup has changed slightly since his last win at the Players Championship, with the most notable change coming last month at the Wells Fargo Championship where the 30-year-old reinserted an M6 3-wood in an effort to go back to a more “traditional” fairway wood setup.

Prior to adding the 3-wood, McIlroy employed a strong-lofted M5 5-wood as his “3-wood” for much of the season. McIlroy has changed fairway woods on a number of occasions since he joined TaylorMade Golf in 2017.
