Covid-19 may have put any purchasing ideas you had in March on hold. Now, it’s game on, and time to reassess your equipment needs. So, we’ve compiled the “Best in Show” from ClubTest 2020 to give you a refresher. These clubs are bold and beautiful, like the game itself. In this edition, we highlight TaylorMade’s Milled Grind 2 wedge.
Why We Love It
TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 wedge
There’s little cooler in golf than getting wedge shots to check up like the ball’s on a string. Dustin Johnson is a master at that and, talent aside, his Milled Grind 2s play a starring role. Their ZTP RAW groove design combines deeper, narrower, sharper grooves with laser etching for mega-spin. TPU inserts in the back cavities dampen vibration, making the MG2s feel as good as they look.
Why I Play It
“The first thing I noticed with these wedges when I tried them was how they went through the ground. They don’t catch and I always get clean contact. I can hit a bunch of different shots and the feel is really nice. And if I need a bit more spin, I know the grooves are going to help me out.” – 22-time PGA Tour winner Dustin Johnson
