These are the clubs Tiger Woods is using at the 2020 PGA Championship (including his new putter)
Ahead of the 2020 PGA Championship at Harding Park, Tiger Woods was testing a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Timeless prototype that was different than the usual Scotty he’s won 14 majors with. On Thursday, Woods decided to put the new putter in play.
According to Steve Stricker, the new Scotty is a bit longer in length so that Woods can practice with it more.
“The length is the difference,” Stricker said. “He’s got a little more length on there, and that’s just so he can practice a little bit more without back pain.”
The new putter also has interchangeable weights on the sole, providing Woods with a bit more flexibility in terms of weight and feel of the putter head.
Aside from the putter switch, Woods bag looks quite similar to the last time we saw him tee it up in competition. In case you forgot what he’s been using, we take a look at his full PGA Championship setup below.
