MODELS: TaylorMade Qi10, Taylormade Qi10 Max and TaylorMade Qi10 LS

NEED TO KNOW: When the original Stealth driver was introduced a few years ago, TaylorMade promised that they were putting titanium face drivers out to pasture. With the new Qi10 series, they are once again committing to that promise. The 60X layer carbon twist face is back with a new supporting structure on the inside of the head to further improve ball speed on mishits. The redesigned support structure that holds the face to the rest of the body has been engineered to flex more, a change that should help to produce higher ball speeds and better distance off the tee than the previous Stealth generation.

In addition, there’s more carbon than ever before, but as far as forgiveness and MOI are concerned, there is one more big change TaylorMade utilized in the Qi10 series: geometry. The original SIM was all about “Shape in Motion” to help lower spin and increase clubhead speed through aerodynamics. But the engineers at TaylorMade decided to make another change to the shape of the head with all three models, specifically the Qi10 MAX, to improve forgiveness across the board.

MODELS: TaylorMade Qi and TaylorMade Qi HL

NEED TO KNOW: With the help of lessons learned from previous generations of game improvement clubs, TaylorMade is introducing the Qi irons, with which the company believes they have cracked the code on creating an iron that can go far, straight, and help golfers with the always annoying fade. To help bring these irons to life TaylorMade engineers brought together many technologies, including FLTD (flighted) CG, speed pocket, cap back, and an all-new organic face design process for straighter shots.

By using what TaylorMade calls Integrated System Design, the manufacturer was able to see how different technology variables impact how a golf club reacts at impact, allowing TM to tune each key technology for a better end ball flight. This comprehensive approach to design helps to ensure ideal gapping, ball speeds, launch angles, and ball flight through the full set. To go along with the core Qi irons, TaylorMade is also adding Qi HL irons to the lineup for 2024 to help golfers who struggle with getting the ball in the air and maintaining spin.

$349.99-449.99
Get yourself a new TaylorMade Qi10 fairway wood with custom shafts and specs from Fairway Jockey today!

MODELS: TaylorMade Qi10, TaylorMade Qi10 Max and TaylorMade Qi10 Tour

NEED TO KNOW: Just like the Qi10 drivers, the Qi10 woods have been refined and tuned to better fit the intended player for each model. The standard model remains, but there has also been a change in vocabulary. The plus or + model is now called the Qi10 Tour, and the HD is now called the Qi10 Max.

One of the most noticeable design enhancements to the fairway woods is the new infinity carbon crown. This new crown design covers almost the entire total surface on the top of the fairway woods — minus a small area near the hosel — an effort that saves mass throughout the head. With the extra mass, TaylorMade engineers were able to add some juice to the rest of the head, considerably improving performance.

MODELS: TaylorMade Qi10, TaylorMade Qi10 Max and TaylorMade Qi10 Tour

NEED TO KNOW: Just like the Qi10 drivers, the Qi10 hybrids have been refined and tuned to better fit the intended player for each model. The standard model remains, but there has also been a change in vocabulary. The plus or + model is now called the Qi10 Tour, and the HD is now called the Qi10 Max.

Although the new Qi10 hybrids don’t have a full infinity crown like the fairway woods, the new crown design covers more surface area to save weight and boost forgiveness. The Qi10 Tour hybrid is the only hybrid in the line that offers up adjustability in the form of the (4-degree) loft sleeve, and like the tour fairway wood, the Qi10 hybrid offers a more boring and lower spinning ball flight to help faster players control the ball in all conditions.
