Our take: Ask and you shall receive. After years of clamoring for a putter with the iconic White Hot insert, Odyssey delivered in a big way with the OG. One tester summed it up best: “I can’t tell you how happy it makes me that Odyssey brought back the original White Hot insert. I can make the same stroke and know how the ball is going to come off every time.” Two decades after it was first introduced, White Hot remains the standard for putter inserts. No need to mess with success.

The details: Outside of the adjustable heel-toe sole weights, the White OG line is a nod to the cult classic with a rich silver PVD finish and milling marks surrounding the two-part urethane insert. For those who are wondering, the insert formulation is identical to the original urethane creation, so you can rest easy knowing it’ll feel identical to your trusty gamer. Each putter is outfitted with a classic gray DFX rubber grip and either a stepless steel or multi-material Stroke Lab in candy- apple red. Eight proven head styles are available.
