Odyssey’s Ai-One and Ai-One Milled putter lines were groundbreaking at the time of their release, and now the Ai-designed face technology is available in more shapes to fit more players.
The company announced eight additional models — four for Ai-One and four for Ai-One Milled — for the line in 2024. The new Ai-One shapes are the Wing Back, 24, 2-Ball Jailbird and 2-Ball Jailbird Cruiser. The Wing Back and 24 are completely new shapes for Odyssey while the 2-Ball Jailbird Cruiser adds a shape and configuration that’s been popular on Tour with a counterbalanced design.
The new shapes for the Ai-One Milled putters are the 2-Ball T, Jailbird Mini T, Rossie V T and One Wide V T Blade. The Rossie is the same shape Jon Rahm used to win the 2023 Masters.
All eight of the new models feature the signature artificial intelligence-designed inserts. The contours on the aluminum backing of the Ai-One inserts were designed to promote consistent ball speeds across the putter face, meaning mishits will travel the same distance as center strikes. According to Odyssey’s testing, that results in putts that finish 21 percent closer to the hole.
Ai-One putters also sport a window in the back of the putter that allows you to view the contours created by the artificial intelligence.
Meanwhile, the Ai-One Milled’s insert is made from titanium but also features the artificial intelligence-designed contours to improve ball-speed consistency across the face. In Odyssey’s robot testing with Ai-One Milled, putts finished 10 percent closer to the hole than a typical milled putter face.
Both putter lines come with the Stroke Lab SL90 shaft, which is designed with a 20-30 gram counterweight (depending on the grip) in the butt end of the shaft to stabilize the club. The 90-gram shaft is about 25 to 30 grams lighter than a typical putter shaft but is 20 grams heavier than the original Stroke Lab shafts.
The four new Ai-One models ($299.99; $349.99 for Jailbird Cruiser) and four new Ai-One Milled models ($449.99) go on sale on Nov. 1 — joining the existing head shapes released last year — and are available for pre-order now. You can pre-order your own by clicking below.
