Bettinardi is releasing extremely limited-edition Scottie Pippen putter covers

Bettinardi Golf — a high-end putter making company located near Chicago, Illinois — recently teamed up with six-time NBA Champion and Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen on a collection of limited-edition putter covers.

On the weekend of February 15, the United Center in Chicago will host the world’s best basketball players for the 2020 NBA All Star game festivities. To celebrate, Bettinardi crafted special putter covers with Pippen, who is a seven-time NBA All Star and has his iconic No. 33 jersey hanging in the rafters at the United Center.

Pippen, along with Michael Jordan and company, won three consecutive NBA Championships on two different occasions (1991-1993 and 1996-1998). Pippen was also a member of the 1992 and 1996 Gold-Medal winning U.S. Olympic basketball teams; the 1992 squad was appropriately dubbed the “Dream Team,” and is widely considered as the best basketball team ever assembled.

The Hall-of-Fame basketball player also happens to be an avid golfer and a Bettinardi brand ambassador. Pippen’s two worlds — golf and basketball — come together on two different custom covers that will be released in very limited quantities.

Firstly are the 1-of-33 putter covers, which come in Chicago Bulls’ Home, Alternate and Away jersey colors. The Bulls-inspired covers are stitched with Pippen’s No. 33 jersey and his signature on the underbelly of the cover.

Secondly are the 1-of-8 putter covers, which celebrate Team USA’s 1992 “Dream Team.”

Both the Chicago Bulls and the Team USA covers are set to release on Saturday at Noon CST. It should go without saying, but interested customers will need to act fast. Should you miss your opportunity at purchasing one of the putter covers in The Hive, Bettinardi will also offer a “special giveaway” on its Instagram account on Sunday.
