Puma Golf releases new OG, Suede G Patch shoes

June 28, 2019

If you’re a fan of throwback looks on the golf course, you’re going to love the latest offering from Puma Golf: two reinventions of the brand’s iconic suede shoe, which was first released in 1968. Last year, Puma introduced a golf-specific iteration of the shoe, and on Friday, the brand announced the release of two additional styles: the Puma OG and the Suede G Patch. Both shoes are unisex styles that are available in both men’s and women’s sizes.

Both shoe models look like a street shoe as opposed to a golf shoe. A hidden traction outsole provides grip via recessed spikeless traction on the sole. Basically, you can’t see the traction on the sole unless you’re in your finish position.

The OG features a leather upper and is available in three colors: Black, White and Peacoat for $100 at cobragolf.com.

The Suede G Patch features a suede upper instead of leather and is available for $110 (see main photo at top of page). The shoes also offer an additional level of customization. Included with the shoes are six interchangeable woven label patches that can be attached to the formstripe (Puma logo) on the side of the shoe. You can swap them in an out as often as you’d like. Colorways in the Suede G Patch include Bridal Rose, Black and Quarry.
