Winner’s Bag: Viktor Hovland’s equipment at the Puerto Rico Open
Rising star Viktor Hovland captured his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday at the 2020 Puerto Rico Open, winning by one stroke. According to Ping, Hovland made some minor adjustments to his Ping driver setup on Tuesday.
“Viktor was commenting that his driver was a little too spinny and had too much right in it,” a Ping representative told GOLF.com. “He worked on Tuesday evening and adjusted the driver settings from “flat+” to “flat Std” and moved the CG Shifter to the heel. Spin and shot shape were more to his liking.”
