After an all-out brawl with Crushers teammate (and friend of Fully Equipped podcast) Charles Howell III, Bryson DeChambeau claimed his first LIV title of 2025 in South Korea.
DeChambeau’s setup is as unique as he is, but if you look deeper into it, you’ll see that there is a definite method to his madness. (I’ll be doing something deeper on it in the coming days, but you’ll find out this bag actually makes a ton of sense once you dig in.)
Here’s a quick example: since his irons are all at 37.5 inches to the end of the grip, the loft and number and each club may look a bit nuts but it’s actually not. Since he needs more options at the end of the bag (i.e. more wedges) his 5-iron may look seven degrees strong vs. what you would normally see but it’s not computed that way.
