FIRST LOOK: Wilson’s C300 Forged irons now come in a mirrored gunmetal finish
As dark iron finishes continue to rise in popularity, more manufacturers are adding a secondary finish option to some of their more popular models. Wilson Staff’s C300 Forged is the latest to undergo the stealth treatment with a mirrored gunmetal finish that gives the head a more compact appearance at address.
Each iron features five urethane-filled “power holes” in the toe, topline and sole that minimize contact between the face and the body of the club, increasing COR across a larger area of the face for greater distance and more forgiveness. A double row of “power holes” can be found on the sole but none on the topline.

Compared to the C300, the forged version offers a slightly smaller profile and more workability with a mid-level launch and spin rate. Forged 8620 carbon steel construction enhances feel at impact.
Wilson’s new mirrored gunmetal C300 Forged irons retail for $1,000 (4-PW) and come standard with KBS‘s Tour 105 shaft and Lamkin’s Crossline White grip. The stock swing weight is D2 with a 7-iron loft of 33 degrees.
