Our Take: If looks could kill. One tester during GOLF’s ClubTest was sold before they had even picked up the Tour Edge Exotics EXS Pro. “Sexy look,” a tester said. “As someone who weighs appearance heavily, I’d totally take these for a test spin.” And once they did? It was Goldilocks. “Overall feel was pleasing,” a tester said. “Not too hard, not too soft. Just right.” A club that looks good and you can bring home to Mom? Hard not to love.

The Exotics EXS Pro Forged Iron is constructed with Japanese S25C Carbon steel to create a soft feel and maximum forgiveness. This iron features a cavity insert that combines steel, ABS polymer and a dampening gel for improved sound and feel.

The Details: Available in forged and blade, the Tour Edge EXS Pro iron sets are limited — only 250 sets are made. The forged irons feature a shorter heel to toe but a thicker top line; a 10-gram Tungsten toe weight in the 3-6 irons for forgiveness; and a cavity insert that is electro-formed and combines steel, ABS polymer and a dampening gel for feel. The blade irons feature a design that includes a narrow sole, a thin top line, a beveled leading edge and square toe; pure milled forging; and a rounded sole radius that greatly reduces drag and turf interaction through impact.
