The new P760 irons from TaylorMade ($1,399.99) share characteristics with some of the other irons in the company’s P700 series and replaces the P750 and P770 by supplying short iron performance of the P750 and long iron performance of the P770.
The progressive design of the new model moves from a one-piece forged clubhead in the short irons (8-AW) to a forged hollow body with high-speed face in the 3-7 irons, optimizing performance throughout the set.
Other features of the new P760 include progressive Tour-inspired shapes with a redesigned sole geometry for improved turf interaction, and SpeedFoam injected in the long irons for improved ball speed and vibration dampening.
True Temper Dynamic Gold 120 steel shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grips come standard.
The new P760 irons will be available at retail on November 2nd.
