Mizuno MP-20 HMB
Our take: Mizuno completely hides its cutting-edge technology within the body of the MP 20 HMB irons, making them deceptively easy to hit and more playable that they appear. “I’ve been wanting to play a set of blades but wasn’t sure if I was ready to put them in the bag,” said a tester. “The irons changed my way of thinking in a heartbeat. They feature a blade shape but are loaded with forgiveness.”

The details: Within the Grain Flow Forged 4135 Chromoly body are two 12-gram tungsten weights in the heel and toe for a lower and deeper CG and an increased MOI that combine for added forgiveness and more distance. The hollow COR construction and copper underlay both contribute to a softer feel and the multi-thickness CORTECH face increases ballspeed, again for a boost in distance with every club in the set.
