Our take: When Miura develops a new iron design, it’s safe to assume they went all-in in terms of research, development and engineering to ensure they deliver the best possible version of what they have in mind. As is the case with the all-new dualmaterial PI-401 irons, which are designed to be exceptionally long, forgiving and playable for all player types.

Miura PI-401

The PI-401 cavity back iron was designed for players of every skill level. Shinei Miura sought to design an iron which delivered exceptional forgiveness, while maximizing distance. The PI-401 combines the renowned Miura “feel” with performance enhancing technology, enabling the golfer to get the most out of their game.

The details: Forged of two types of carbon steel, the face is specifically constructed to increase ball speed and promote a high trajectory, and the wide sole design features four angles for added versatility and less turf resistance through impact. The added clubface progression ensures that the head shape retains an appealing look through the entire set
