I’m always looking for ways to make practice more productive without needing to live at the driving range. Easy to set-up, even easier to use

Right from the jump, this training aid was ridiculously easy to use. Simply set the board down, then, take a swing. After each swing, just slide the sequins back the opposite direction to reset the Eagle Mat Pro. As I practiced, I really appreciated the immediate feedback from the high-contrast sequins that appears across the two-tone surface. I didn’t even have to hit a ball, yet I got instant feedback on what my club was doing through impact.

What stood out right away was how clearly the mat exposed patterns in my swing — both good and bad. With a few swings under my belt, I was able to recognize when I was coming over the top and when I was getting slotted and delivering a square face at impact. I could even tell when my strikes favored the heel or toe. Instead of guessing what went wrong, the board made it obvious.

It also made practice far more engaging than I expected. I started treating it like a challenge, trying to create the cleanest, most centered strike mark possible.
