Hideki Matsuyama defeated Alex Noren in a playoff to win Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge Sunday at Albany in the Bahamas.
Matsuyama has changed quite a few of his clubs from his first win of 2025 at the Sentry in January in Hawaii, including switching to Srixon’s newest driver, the ZXi LS.
His specific model is the Tour-only ZXi LS T251 driver, which is in the bag of many other Srixon pros, like Shane Lowry.
Matsuyama has held on to two older fairway woods, the TaylorMade Qi10 3-wood and a Cobra Rad Speed Tour. His irons and wedges are also the same as in January.
One major change Matsuyama made since January is switching back to his trusty Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS putter. Matusyama used a custom center-shafted 009 at the Sentry, but he surely has one of the largest putter collections on Tour. The putter he used this week in the Bahamas is referred to as his “Ace.”
