In difficult conditions for Saturday’s final round, Harris English navigated an already brutal Torrey Pines South layout to a 73 to win the Farmers Insurance Open by one, his fifth PGA Tour title.
English uses a full bag of Ping clubs, but uses some older models as Ping Tour rep Kenton Oates describes him as a “creature of habit and routine.”
“He loves the process of what it takes to be great at this game and this bleeds into what you see in his bag,” Oates told GOLF. “He has complete trust in all 14 of his PING clubs whether it be his new Blueprint T irons or his older g400 fairway and Scottsdale Hohum putter.”
English also won using Golf Pride’s unreleased MCC Align Max grips, which he switched to this week and was the first player to adopt a full set.
Take a closer look at the full bag of Ping clubs and Titleist golf balls he used to get the job done in San Diego.
The PING G430 LST Driver features an exclusive Low Spin Technology (LST) Carbonfly Wrap, a lightweight composite that covers the crown and wraps into the heel/toe sections of the skirt to save weight and lower the CG for more ball speed, less spin and higher MOI. The 8-layer, one-piece composite saves four grams and weighs 11.5g fully installed. A moveable 22-gram, high-density tungsten backweight influences shot shape ±7 yards between the Draw, Neutral and Fade settings. At 440cc, the smaller tour-style LST is available in 9° and 10.5° lofts (adjustable +/-1.5° and lie up to 3° flat from standard) and best fits faster swing speeds.
THE DISTANCE DIFFERENCE. MORE BALL SPEED.
A shallower, variable-thickness face is thinner to create more face deflection for generating faster ball speed for our biggest distance gains to date.
THE SOUND SOLUTION
A new integral rib structure and increased curvature of the crown, skirt and sole fine tunes clubhead frequencies to produce a desirable sound and impact experience.
SPINSISTENCY
A variable roll radius, with less loft low on the face, enhances spin consistency and carry distance.
CARBONFLY WRAP
Lightweight composite crown wraps into the heel and toe of the skirt to save weight and lower the CG for more ball speed with higher MOI.
MOVEABLE BACK WEIGHT
A 25-gram, high-density tungsten moveable backweight influences shot shape +/-10 yards between the Draw, Neutral and Fade settings.
NEW FOR 2022! Introducing a new profile to the lineup, VENTUS TR. Born from the continuous quest for improvement and backed by enso®–driven analytics and Tour feedback, VENTUS TR builds upon one of the most trusted and best-selling wood shafts in Fujikura history. TR is a new mid launch, low spin profile in the VENTUS line. Welcome to the next level of VENTUS performance.
The G440 fairway family (MAX, LST, SFT) advances PING’s reputation as a Tour-preferred model of choice through a re-designed face structure and low CG system. The face is taller for more confidence off the tee while maintaining a CG location that delivers high- launching performance off the ground. The MAX model (which fits most golfers) is available in five lofts (including a new 4-wood) to provide more gapping solutions.
HIGH MOI
Easy to launch, stable design increases forgiveness.
FLEXING FACE
Maraging steel face flexes for more ball speed, optimizes spin.
TALLER FACE PROFILE
Improves performance off the tee, maintains low CG.
FREE-HOSEL DESIGN
Saves weight to lower CG, optimize launch/spin and increase forgiveness.
The Fujikura Atmos Tour Spec is ideal for the player looking for a low, mid, or high launching shaft looking to keep the ball flighted down with low spin. You can buy the Fujikura Atmos Tour Spec with the adaptor sleeve of choice built to your required specifications.
JOCKEY TIP: The Fujikura Atmos Tour Spec continues with their iconic “Tour Spec white” paint, ATMOS is a true tour flighted line of shafts with simple color coding – red as the higher launching, blue as mid launch, black as the lowest launch – similarities include keeping the handle flexes the same for feel, but adjusting mid and tip sections for launch and spin to achieve your desired ball flight. You can purchase the Fujikura Atmos Tour Spec in the following models: 6 black, 7 black, 8 black, 6 blue, 7 blue, 8 blue, 6 red, 7 red, and 8 red.
Now fully adjustable for loft and lie with Trajectory Tuning 2.0, the Tour-inspired iCrossover’s compact design elevates long-iron performance from a lower CG and maraging steel face that generate faster ball speed and higher launch to carry shots farther. An EVA polymer in the cavity helps deliver a solid feel and sound. The rounded lead edge ensures smooth turf interaction, a toe screw and tip weight increase MOI and shorter club lengths provide added control. The MicroMax grooves deliver consistent performance from wet and dry grass. The adjustable hosel offers eight loft and lie settings for customizing ball flight.
TOUR-INSPIRED DESIGN
Refined shaping, compact blade length
Precision-milled MicroMax grooves
Shorter club lengths for control
FASTER. HIGHER.
Lower CG for more energy transfer, ball speed
High launch with stopping power
Solid feel and sound
MARAGING STEEL FACE
Lower bend hinge point increases speed and launch
Smaller internal cavity w/EVA polymer improves feel

PING Blueprint T Custom Irons
For the accomplished golfer who relies on control and precision, Blueprint T delivers a single-piece, 8620 carbon steel forging that puts a premium on workability, trajectory control and superb feel.
SHORTER HEEL-FACE
Allows the hosel transition to blend smoothly into the top rail, creating a clean, distraction-free appearance at address. The narrow soles enable consistent turf interaction from all conditions.
MOI BOOSTED
Save for the slight MOI boost from tungsten toe screw and tip weights, it’s a purely forged iron, concentrating mass through the impact zone to ensure a pleasing sound and feel with the workability to take on any shot.
Jockey Tip: The lofts match the Blueprint S and i230 irons to allow golfers to create blended sets within PING’s precision iron offerings.
Wedges: Ping Glide 4.0 46/S, 52/S, 56/S and Ping Glide Forged 60°(46 and 52: True Temper Dynamic Gold X100, 56 and 60: True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400)
PING s159 Custom Wedge

Tour-Proven Design
The tour-inspired 8620 carbon steel head features a soft feel and clean shape with a straighter lead edge for improved results on full shots. Two performance-enhancing finishes (Hybropearl 2.0 Chrome and Midnight) are available in all loft/grind combinations.
More Grooves. More Spin.
Wheel-cut grooves are precision-milled to varying dimensions, depending on loft. The 46-to-52-degree wedges are milled to maximize groove volume for greater control on full shots. The 54-to-62-degree options feature more tightly spaced MicroMax grooves to impart more spin, especially around the greens.
The Golf Pride MCC Align grip features ALIGN Technology that provides a raised red ridge when installed on a shaft to allow for consistent hand placement and heightened clubface awareness throughout the swing for a square clubface at address and impact. The pebbled texture and plus sign patterns create increased coverage to maximize control of the club while the exclusive brushed cotton cord in the upper hand wick away moisture for all-weather control.
