It’s been almost 20 years since the first Pro V1 hit the golf course. The stratospheric rise of Titleist’s flagship golf ball model to the top of the market didn’t happen by accident (although it did happen virtually overnight).

October 2000: Pro V1’s first victory
Billy Andrade wins the Invensys Classic—the first-ever win by a Pro V1 player.
March 2001: Pro V1 takes over
Becomes best-selling golf ball in the marketplace. It’s been the best-selling golf ball every month since then.
June 2001: Pro V1 major breakthrough
March 2003: Say hello to Pro V1x
Debut of the improved Pro V1 and the first Pro V1x model.
March 2019: The future in full color
For the first time ever, Pro V1 and Pro V1x are available in yellow. It’s now played across every worldwide professional tour.
