Sungjae Im’s fresh take on the striped polo: Weekly Obsession

March 3, 2020

Sungjae Im winning his first PGA Tour title was inevitable. However, it’s one thing to bag your first Tour win, it’s another to do it in style.

During both Saturday’s third round and Sunday’s final round of the Honda Classic, Im wore a JDX polo featuring a fresh take on the classic striped pattern. In the white space separating the stripes, there were palm fronds and a pop of contrasting color.

While there’s nothing wrong with a classic striped polo, Im’s shirt channeled the Florida vibes and added a bit of intrigue to his winning outfit.

Like Im, JDX is a product of South Korea. The clothing brand recently started selling its golfwear in the United States, offering high quality apparel designed with style and performance in mind.

Im’s polo is a perfect example of JDX’s fresh take on classic golf attire. It was simple, but not boring and stood out in the Florida sun. If you’re a golfer looking to update your on-course style, but still lean toward the traditional “uniform” of a polo, JDX’s fresh takes are exactly what you should add to your wardrobe.

The designs are interesting and unexpected, but also fit seamlessly into traditional golf style.

JDX also sponsors the women’s world No. 13 and the 2018 Women’s U.S. Open Champion Ariya Jutanugarn.

With Im’s and Jutanugarn’s stock rising on their respective tours, you can expect to see a lot more JDX golfwear in the future. And if style and performance are what you’re after, you can shop the entire JDX collection here.
