‘Best Of’ Review: These stylish Peter Millar golf pants are my husband’s new favorite
Welcome to GOLF.com’s “Best Of” review series, where one of GOLF’s editors reviews new, interesting and helpful products from around the golf world. This week: Peter Millar’s Durham Performance Pants.
Background
Founded way back in 2001 with a single offering: a cashmere sweater, Peter Millar has since grown into a golf and lifestyle-wear powerhouse, offering a beautiful and varied range of apparel, including polos, sweaters, outwear, pants, shorts and accessories for both men and women.
The Product
My husband has always been particular about his pants. As a golf professional, they’re a part of his daily wardrobe, and he gravitates toward lightweight materials, a comfortable fit and easy-care fabrics that stay pressed and professional-looking throughout the day. Peter Millar’s Durham Performance Trouser ticks all the boxes.
Does it live up to the hype?
Yes, it really does. I’m a very biased party when it comes to assessing my husband’s apparel (he looks good in everything!), but these pants have become my favorites. I especially like the slim, tailored look. While my husband has always been a fan of roomier fits, the classic fit on these trousers isn’t at all constrictive, and the result is really flattering. The best part? Over a year into weekly wear and washing, they still look brand new, and emerge from the dryer wrinkle-free, which, in my opinion, is a huge selling point.

Best golf pants for looking like a pro
Peter Millar Durham Performance Trouser
Available in seven different neutral and earth tones, these pants are as professional as it gets: not too tight, not too loose, and offered in three different inseam lengths. The result is a perfectly tailored look that doesn’t require dry cleaning or even ironing. The polyester woven twill fabric is also moisture-wicking, and two-way stretch ensures comfort.
