Our take: As with its C521 and E521 drivers, Tour Edge’s game-improvement metal-woods of the same name serve players in need of help (C521) and a lot of help (E521). The C521 has a more traditional shape, with less offset, and allows for more shot-shaping. “Feel was really good,” one tester noted. “Comes off really nicely.” The E521, with considerably more offset, and a low, deep center of gravity is geared for players who need help tempering a slice and getting their balls up and off the fairway.

For the player seeking optimal launch and spin rates in a minimal offset club design, the Hot Launch C521 delivers.

Tour Edge Hot Launch E521

$150
The Hot Launch E521 Fairway Wood brings the game-changing Houdini Sole together with a super-shallow face, slice-fighting offset, and heel draw-bias weighting.

The details: The “Houdini Sole” magically makes weight disappear from the middle of the sole and reappear where golfers need it most: in the rear of the clubhead, on the trailing edge. On the other side of the sole, the curved leading edge reduces friction with the ground, promoting cleaner contact (read: less chunks!). On the E521, the Cup Face design is shallower than its predecessor, helping players to sweep and launch the ball off tight lies.
