Background
Los Angeles, California-based Birdicorn was founded in 2017, and, much like their flagship divot tool, they’re all about functionality, setting out to make the innovative products and then enveloping them in pleasing design. The company takes its name from a mythical bird with that has a unicorn horn attached to its sparrow-like body. The founders previously used the name to describe a hole-in-one on a par-5, then realized it was fitting moniker to accompany their versatile divot repair tool.
The Product
The Birdicorn 7-in-1 divot tool does a whole lot more than its diminutive size suggests. Despite its small, lightweight design, the Birdicorn can perform seven different functions for you on the course. In addition to a two-prong divot tool, it also acts as a ball marker holder, bottle opener, groove cleaner, alignment aid, a club rest to keep your grips dry on a water-logged course, and even a stencil to mark your golf ball with. While the Birdicorn’s actual divot-repairing technology is as basic as it gets, no other tool can do as much for you, all while taking up minimal space in your pocket.
