I’ve written this before but it’s worth writing again because that’s how strongly I feel about this statement: Is there anything more satisfying than the arming of a brand-new golf bag? Besides a birdie-birdie finish, no, there is not.
But here’s what we love about golf bags. There’s one for everyone. Heck, maybe there’re two for you. These days the reliable ones are becoming more reliable and the fancy ones — cooler pockets! phone chargers! — are becoming fancier. It all comes down to what you want. Some golfers will fill all 14 different pockets with gear, while others need a subtle bag with two pockets — balls, tees, pencil, thank you very much — and can’t be bothered with extras. Want to stick out? There’s a bag for you. Blend in? Easy. Lots of great options for that.
For the latest edition of GOLF’s Best of Everything, we did the work for you. Our staff of experts found the best bags for those looking for value or those ready to splurge. For those walking or riding. For those who aren’t hung up on the extras and just want something simple yet Check out our picks below or browse more items on Fairway Jockey.
