Kevin Tway signs multi-year equipment deal with Wilson Golf

Gary Woodland’s multi-year club deal with Wilson Golf paid immediate dividends last year. The equipment manufacturer is hoping for a repeat with Kevin Tway, who agreed to a similar deal that will see him use Wilson irons and wedges this season. He’s also contractually obligated to wear a Wilson hat and use the staff bag.

As a member of Wilson’s advisory staff, Tway will offer insight and feedback on future products that could eventually make their way to tour. Tway joins Woodland, Kevin Streelman, Padraig Harrington and Brendan Steele as the fifth member of Wilson’s PGA Tour staff.

“I could not be happier to join the Wilson team,” Tway said. “Their premium line of Tour-proven clubs will continue to elevate my game and I am most excited to work with Wilson to help pave the way for the next generation of golfers.”

During the 2018-19 PGA Tour season, Tway recorded his first win at the Safeway Open and finished one spot shy of advancing to the Tour Championship for the first time in his career.

Tway will make his 2020 debut this week at the Sony Open in Hawaii with a split set of Wilson irons consisting of D7 Forged (3-5) and Staff V6 (6-9), along with Staff Model wedges (48, 52 and 56 degrees).
