Course Overview
The course is about an hour from the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range in northwestern Georgia and sits about 1,500 feet above the valley floor. Three unique settings comprise its structure: canyons, highlands and cliffs. The elevation changes are perhaps most evident at the par-5 6th, while the back nine is defined by the dramatic and limestone-edged closing holes. The course’s co-designer, Rees Jones, has described the cliff-hanging par-4 18th as “one of the best finishing holes in golf.” He’s biased, sure, but the closer has objectively become one of the most recognizable holes in the modern game.
