Course Overview
With its tournament tees clocking in at nearly 8,000 yards, the Pfau Course was designed to test the best players in the Hoosier State, if not the nation. During a 2020 overhaul, architect Steve Smyers and two-time major winner and IU alum Fuzzy Zoeller rearranged the 265-acre property — complete with rolling topography and newly naturalized areas — into a stout yet fair test. Holes like the 530-yard, uphill par-4 2nd are daunting, but Pfau should not be missed by players of all abilities, especially those who value affordability; the course ranked 13th on GOLF’s Top 100 Value Courses in the U.S. list in 2021.
