Every inch of La Costa North is calculated to test the top collegiate players while maintaining an element of forgiveness and varied options for resort guests, a feat easier idealized than actualized. Naturalized areas and wide playing corridors power a strong finishing stretch that includes, at the par-3 16th, a flipped version of the 12th at Augusta National.
