PGA Tour viewers will be familiar with this design, as it has played host to the RSM Classic since 2010. Tom Fazio stitched together two existing nines (the original Seaside nine was the handiwork of Englishmen Harry Colt and Charles Alison back in 1929) and conjured a memorable routing featuring marshland, Atlantic winds and elevated greens. The dogleg-left 13th is the most talked about hole, protected on the left by marshland and on the right by three fairway bunkers, plus a tricky approach to a raised green.
