HIGHLIGHTS

check GLIDE RAIL
A key attribute of the Halo XL woods line is the Glide Rails on the sole of the clubs to help lower the center of gravity by positioning extra mass on the sole and to help deliver more effective turf interaction to better maintain a square face through the impact zone.
check BIGGER SWEET SPOT
The Halo XL fairway woods utilize the same AI-designed MainFrame XL technology as the Launcher XL2 drivers to expand the effective size of the sweet spot to boost distance and forgiveness with evolving variable face thickness through the entire series.
check ACTION MASS CB
More technology carried over from Launcher XL2 drivers is Action Mass CB (counterbalance) to help make the club feel lighter and easier to control by placing an 8-gram counterweight under the extreme butt end of the grip.

To go along with the launch of the new Cleveland Launcher XL2 drivers, Cleveland is also introducing three new long-game options with the Halo XL woods to help golfers find the best club type to fit their swing and their game. The options are the Halo XL fairway woods, Halo XL hybrids, and the all-new Hy-Wood loaded with fairway wood power and hybrid control.

A key attribute of the Halo XL woods line is the Glide Rails on the sole of the clubs to help lower the center of gravity by positioning extra mass on the sole and to help deliver more effective turf interaction to better maintain a square face through the impact zone. In essence, they act as rudders to help the club glide through the grass without digging and are especially effective from the rough.

Cleveland Halo XL woods: 3 things you need to know
By: Ryan Barath

On the inside, the Halo XL woods utilize the same AI-designed MainFrame XL technology as the Launcher XL2 drivers to expand the effective size of the sweet spot to boost distance and forgiveness, but with evolving variable face thickness through the entire Halo XL series woods to best match how each club is most often missed based on player testing data.

More technology carried over from Launcher XL2 drivers is Action Mass CB (counterbalance) to help make the club feel lighter and easier to control by placing an 8-gram counterweight under the extreme butt end of the grip. Testing has proven that a counterbalanced driver helps the club feel lighter, promotes a more stable and controlled backswing, and encourages a more inside club path leading to a more square face at impact.
