Sepp Straka fired a second-straight round of 65 on Friday at Pebble Beach — matching Thursday’s number at Spyglass Hill — to lead the tournament by three shots at the halfway point.
Straka is 14 under par after 36 holes, and three shots clear of Russell Henley and Cam Davis (both -11). Five players are 10 under par, including Tony Finau and Justin Rose, who won this tournament in 2023.
Straka is enjoying a good run of form over the past few weeks, after notching his third career PGA Tour victory at the American Express less than two weeks ago in La Quinta.
He’ll tee off in Round 3 in pursuit of win No. 4 alongside Henley and Davis at 1:35 p.m. ET.
