Hero World Challenge Thursday primer
While Tiger Woods won’t be teeing it up on Thursday at Albany, he’ll be there watching a star-studded field of pros compete in his tournament. Among them is rising star Ludvig Aberg.
While Aberg didn’t add a second PGA Tour win in 2024, he still had a great year, earning three runner-up finishes among eight total top 10s.
The 25-year-old Swedish pro is making his Hero World Challenge debut this week, but many of his competitors have lots of experience at Albany, including World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who took home the Hero trophy last year.
