TaylorMade
With the goal of creating cool and unique products, TaylorMade has once again teamed up with renowned fashion and lifestyle brand Kith to release a collection of clubs and accessories for golfers who want to stand out from the crowd.
To celebrate the release, Kith hosted a kickoff tournament at Pebble Beach Golf Resort from June 2-4th and opened a pop-up shop at the world-famous resort which will be open until the end of July while supplies last.
“Continuing our partnership with Kith is a result of the success of the unique blend of the pillars of both Kith and TaylorMade to bring a creative spin on our products and brand identities.” Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade VP of product creation, “We’ve always been attracted to partnerships that allow us to reimagine what a golfer plays, wears, and relies on, and our relationship with Kith was born from a shared passion for the game of golf.”
“When creating product in a different category, it’s imperative that we work with the bestin class. For golf, that’s TaylorMade. After our first collection, we challenged ourselves to develop new language and offer a unique approach to the sport.” Ronnie Fieg, Founder, CEO & Creative Director of Kith, “Together we created some incredible custom takes on their innovative equipment. My personal favorites are the K790 Irons and wedges, which were executed to create a mixed metal gradient. I’ve never seen anything like it before, and couldn’t be happier with the final execution.”
The Kith X TaylorMade collection
The collection includes a full array of clubs and accessories that pair TaylorMade technologies with Kith style and unique branding,
Qi10 Driver
The Qi10 driver is offered in rose gold and black to highlight the Infinity Carbon Crown and features the KITH monogram logo on the carbon. The sole weights also stand out with a touch of rose gold.
It’s priced at $650 and comes in lofts of 9 and 10.5 degrees with a special edition Ventus TR and Golf Pride Z-grip.
KITH P790 Irons
The K790s feature all of the technology of the P790 (because inside they’re the same), but it’s what’s on the outside that makes them special.
The K790s have a flowing color scheme that gets darker as the set progresses from the long to the short irons. The four and five irons are chrome, the six and seven are light smoke, the eight and nine are dark smoke, and the pitching wedge is black. To finish off the look the irons are identified with Roman numerals rather than the traditional numbers.
The irons are priced at $1,750 (4-PW) and come stock with Dynamic Gold 105 black shafts and Golf Pride Z grips.
KITH MG4 Wedges
To complete the sets color progression, the MG4 wedge finished are nightshade in the 52, bronze in the 56, and gold in the 60 degree. The back branding is minimalistic with Kith’s monogram badging.
The wedges are $295 each, come in the previously mentioned three lofts (52,56,60) and come with Dynamic Gold 105 black shafts and Golf Pride Z grips.
KITH Spider Tour Putter
For the TaylorMade spider tour the designers at Kith have made it pop with a rainbow PVD finish that contrasts against a black and gold true path alignment. Thanks to the nature of the rainbow PVD coating each putter produced has a unique finish.
The putter is priced at $445, is 34 inches long, and comes with a special edition SuperStroke pistol GT grip and
Kith TP5 Golf Ball
Last but not least, each Kith X TaylorMade TP5 golf ball dozen comes in separate logo’d sleeves to showcase various graphics and are to highlight the collaboration.
The golf balls are priced at $55 a dozen.
