We’re down to the final round of the World Wide Technology Championship played at Tiger Woods’ El Cardonal at Diamante in Los Cabos, Mexico, and there’s a bunched leaderboard battling for a $1.476 million winner’s check.
The total purse is $8.2 million, and second place receives $893,800 and third $565,800. Through 54 holes, it’s Matt Kuchar and Camilo Villegas tied at 19 under, but Erik van Rooyen is one shot back and three others are just two off the lead.
“Matt was kind of running away, but golf is weird and he came back to us,” Villegas said. “We’ll be back tomorrow, play good, keep staying aggressive. There’s a lot of low scores on this golf course.”
