Welcome to Gimme That, a GOLF.com column where we’ll highlight one notable item we think you might like. Whether it’s an article of clothing, an intriguing electronic device or anything in between, we want to share these items with you because they’ve generated a bit of chatter by our water cooler (or, these days, on our Slack channel). So sit back, scroll down and keep up with the latest gear golf has to offer.
If you’re looking for a modern, athletic golf shoe, few show and perform better than the sneaker-like Puma IGNITE PWRADAPT Caged. But it was also made for maximum stability.
A PWRFrame placed on the shoe’s upper provides support in a high-stress area, and the outsole has pods that allow the spikes to move independently from one another.
The shoes check all the boxes when it comes to comfort, too, and golfers love them — they received rave reviews on Cobra Puma’s website. Take note, though, the site also recommends going down 1/2 size, as the fit is slightly long.
