On the other 364 days of the year, I often tell my kids to talk to the hand. On Father’s Day I’ll be asking them to look at the hand. Mine is currently gloveless and that’s a problem. My son is 15, so gift-giving isn’t his strong suit. A few weeks back, I played golf with some pals as part of a bachelor party weekend in Westchester County, N.Y., about 40 miles from my New Jersey home.
