It’s hard to believe, but there are only 18 more holes to play at the 2020 PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park. The good news? It’s going to be a barnburner of a major Sunday. Dustin Johnson seemingly came out of nowhere to claim the lead at nine under, but a bevy of big names like Brooks Koepka, Cameron Champ, Collin Morikawa, Bryson DeChambeau, Tony Finau, Justin Rose, Jason Day and Tommy Fleetwood are all within three shots of DJ’s lead. Who will lift the Wanamaker on Sunday evening? The excitement is palpable! Here’s what you need to know for Sunday’s final round.

1. The best PGA Championship pairings

Sunday afternoon will feature some seriously compelling pairings. Here are the five best:

1. 4:30 p.m. ET: Brooks Kopeka, Paul Casey
2. 4:40 p.m. ET: Cameron Champ, Collin Morikawa
3. 4:50 p.m. ET: Dustin Johnson, Scottie Scheffler
4. 4:20 p.m. ET: Bryson DeChambeau, Tony Finau
5. 4:10 p.m. ET: Justin Rose, Jason Day

2. How to watch the PGA Championship Sunday

Both ESPN and CBS will broadcast the final round of the PGA Championship on Sunday. ESPN will get the TV coverage started with three hours of airtime on Sunday beginning at 12 p.m. ET, and CBS will take over the coverage for final six hours of the tournament, including the crowning of a new champion, from 3-9 p.m. ET.

If you prefer to stream the action, you can watch early coverage of Sunday’s final round exclusively on ESPN+. ESPN+ will stream two hours of coverage from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. ET, before the action switches to TV. You can also catch Featured Group coverage all day Sunday on ESPN+, along with Featured Hole coverage of the 18th hole.

Both the ESPN and CBS TV broadcasts can be streamed online at ESPN.com/watch and CBS.com/all-access by signing into your account or using an active cable subscription.

3. PGA Championship weather

Morning clouds are expected to give way to mostly sunny conditions starting at around 10 a.m. local time on Sunday. The temperature is expected to peak at 65 degrees in the early afternoon, dropping to the low 60s by the time the final round is complete. And much like Saturday, the wind will pick up as the leaders tee off, gusting up to 14 mph.

4. What happened to Tiger Woods?

Tiger’s hopes of claiming his 16th major championship at TPC Harding Park appear to be dead in the water. A third-round 72 dropped the Big Cat 15 places down the leaderboard into T59. It’s been a disappointing week thus far, but there’s still an opportunity to build some momentum for the upcoming FedEx Cup Playoffs with a good round on Sunday. Plus, we still have two more major championships to look forward to this year — including the Masters, where he’s the defending champion.

5. The best storyline of the PGA Championship’s final round will be…

There’s no question that from a golf history standpoint, the possibility of a Kopeka PGA Championship three-peat trumps everything else. And if he does manage to do it by coming from two strokes back to beat Johnson, it will launch Koepka into even greater rarefied air.

But a DJ victory at the PGA would certainly be satisfying as well, in a banish-the-ghosts-of-majors-past kind of way. He’s way too talented to have only one major victory on his resume.

The second-to-last pairing of rising stars Morikawa and Champ would also yield an ultra-welcome victor. Both have significant ties to the Bay area, and represent the best of the young talent on Tour. And finally, let’s not count out DeChambeau. He’s three shots back, but if he can hang around, this week will mark his best performance ever in a major.

With so many storylines to look forward to, one thing’s for sure: Sunday afternoon golf is absolute must-see TV this weekend.
