Pro golfer flaunts killer dance moves after winning senior major
Swedish pro Helen Alfredsson overcame a three-shot deficit in the final round to win the Senior LPGA Championship on Wednesday at French Lick Resort’s Pete Dye course. Alfredsson shot rounds of 72-72-70 to claim the title by three shots over Juli Inkster.
Remarkably, Alfredsson also won the U.S. Senior Women’s Open back in May, making it a major-season sweep for the 54-year-old. (The senior women’s major schedule includes only two events, the U.S. Senior Women’s Open and the Senior LPGA Championship.)
In the euphoric aftermath of her comeback victory, Alfredsson showed off yet another impressive talent: her killer dance moves. Check out the video below.

Golf Channel’s Jerry Foltz posted footage from the tournament’s volunteer party, where, to the tune of Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock” (and to the delight of a bevy of attendees), Alfredsson showed she can really bust a move — even with her rain jacket tied around her waist.
Alfredsson amassed seven LPGA Tour titles between 1993 and 2008, including a major, the 1993 Nabisco Dinah Shore. She also won 11 times on the Ladies European Tour. Now, she has two senior majors on her resume too.
Here’s hoping her stellar dance moves can inspire more major winners to cut loose on camera during victory celebrations.
