Callaway releases limited edition Chrome Soft Truvis Suits golf balls

June 7, 2019

The Chrome Soft Truvis golf ball has been so popular the company’s factory in Chicopee, Mass., basically has to run full time to make enough of them to satisfy customers. In light of this success it’s not a surprise Callaway’s golf ball team has occasionally come up with limited runs that include Ryder Cup patterns, U.S. flags, and a number of other custom designs. The latest addition, Chrome Soft Truvis Suits golf balls ($44.99/dozen) feature playing card suits (spades, hearts, clubs, diamonds) in the Truvis pattern on a white background.

The newest Truvis model features all the standard design and performance features of the standard Chrome Soft including a Graphene-infused Dual Soft Fast Core complete with low spinning larger inner core that maxes out energy transfer at impact. The unique core design is not only aimed at creating more launch and distance on longer clubs but is also geared toward enhancing spin control on iron and wedge approach shots.

The overall design is topped off with an extremely thin urethane cover that further improves short game feel and control (long lasting durability is a nice plus as well).
